My mistake regarding the website. The correct address is Garsworld.com. Great site for identifying profitable stock movement. Happy New Years. I visit you site several times each month. Thanks for your service to investors.

Bruce, I just registered and dowloaded the software, it is very nice. Looks like the picks are based on MACD cross over and oversold indicators such as RSI. Are there any other methods to the picks?
If you did not have a chance yet, check out the new Heikin-Ashi stock charts on the MTR. They are great for timing trades.

Hello Patrick:
You asked for different methods for picking stocks in Garsworld. Actually there are numerous methods. Once you download the software you should see serveral tabs on the top of the page starting with FORUM. Go across to the WHAT WORKS tab and click to open. The author ranks the various Stock Picking Methods from 1 to 12. When you click on your pick, such as MACD Curve Down, the program identify the Best Stocks that have the best potential for movement within that category. The stock database is updated in realtime during the day.
There is another Tabs on top named Tutorials. Watch the tutorials to get a better idea help the program will help the user. Yes there is a learning curve to this program. I can say the author, Gar Crandal, is very dedicated to constantly improving his program. I use this program in conjunction with Amibroker. Works very well for me!

Bruce, thank you for the response it is very helpful. I will use the program for the week to check it out more. Do you know the owner? Very nice app.
I am also a heavy user of AMIBroker (probably know from my posts) and am working on other trading strategies right now, so I really have to see if Gar's program will buy me anything over the systems and explorations I already use in AMIBroker. If you ever want to collaborate on a system let me know. I have tried many other programs (MetaStock, SuperCharts, NeuroShell) but in my view nothing matches AMIBroker for system writing and back-testing. I think NinjaTrader appeals to me because it is C# based for writing systems, but for $1000 it is too pricey.
Thanks again for the tip on the site. It looks very promising.

Hello Once Again Patrick:
In your last email, you asked me to check out Heikin-Ashi Charts. Terrific. I have used this indicator, through Amibroker, for the past year . Within the Member Section of Amibroker, the program publishes the each monthly indicator from Stock and Commodities magazine. In the December 2008 issue of Stock and Commodities, there is a trading technique using Heikin-Aski Charts along with TEMA. I have used this indicator for the past year very successfully. If you would be willing to provide your email address, I would be more than happy to send you my Amibroker chart with this indicator. I agree with you. Heikin Ashi is terrific identifying trends.

Bruce, I did see the reference to the mag article in the AMIBroker site. I downloaded the code this past week then coded the rules in the the MTR charts on this site. I sent you a follow up email with my email address.
