I am wondering the same thing. Interesting timing on your post.....I am working on a trading system based on Z-Score. It performs "okay" and I am trying to tweak it to see if it would be useful for trading and a more Early Signal then the MTR-TM since MTR-TM lags somewhat.
I have been back-testing many ideas for a couple of months now to build a list of stocks to review each day, but the old indicators and back-testing do not perform well. I am still looking for something to scan stocks and perform at least 50% winning trades. I have a few that do, some that perform at 70% but there are too many trades in those systems that they are not realistic.
I am somewhat apprehensive right now, but I am still in the markets with stops. The news is "good" but you know how year end goes with fund managers dumping stocks to re-align portfolios to make it appear they held the best stocks at year end.

If you are seeking a program to identify promising stocks in the future, you may want to look at GARWORLD.COM. This is a good site for identifying future profitable stock candidates. I am not promoting this site. I am a user however!

Hi Bruce,
I always like to check out promising investing information. I went to the site but it looks like someone's photo album. There are pictures of a canoe trip but nothing on stocks. Check the name on the post and let me know.

The earliest time a SELL can fire would be on Tuesday 1/5. So Monday night there may be a forcasted sell for that day.
