I think that it is very important for us to exit when the MTR makes its signal rather than wait for the next day. We should post on the nightly update the point for the next day when the system enters or exits the trade.

I ran some back-tests a while ago attempting to make MTR an intra-day system, but the results were not that great.  The philosophy of the 4% Model that I built on this system is "the professionals control the closing price of the market" so if we take any intra-day high/low to fire a signal it may be wrong.

There were some changes to the logic of the MTR-TM in the past month... so what I will do is run some tests to see if an intra-day can work with the new logic, if it does posting a level to go LONG/SHORT the day prior would be great, or an alert notification when the level is reached.

I am with you that the earlier the better but one of the issues is that there has to be at least a week over week +- 3.5ish % change.

I will looking into it and post the results. If they are close or fairly good we can still send out an alert or project the levels. If folks want to take a stab at the trade before the close to jump on the train early....

Am I correct in asuming that you know the exit or buy number on the night prior to the next day. This number is always a closing number for the next day. I am saying that we can post this exit or buy number the night before. On many exits and buys the closing number is so far into buy or sell territory that the trader can buy or sell with confidence in the final five or ten minutes of the trade day. On days that it is close the trader can stand pat and wait for the next day to make the trade.

Riskless, you are correct, the day prior the number would be know.  I will consider how to implement this feature. I think it is a great idea.

I will update this thread with a status on this feature.
